In retrospect after overcoming what we had to, and in my experience, studying war with The Holy Spirit must level up alongside the increase of affluence at every level to prevent the need for a revolution so evident in America right now.

When she was 5-yrs old Adrielle watched a friend she admired play the violin, and from that day she began asking to study the instrument too. Something about that experience touched her deeply. For years this was her cry until one day I found an opening in Peter’s soul when she was turning 9, and immediately enrolled her in private lessons. On the first day her Ukrainian instructor was shocked that she had never been exposed to basic notes. Certain it was going to be an uphill battle, she let us both know that she was clearly not pleased.

By the 3rd lesson that teacher had perked up. And within a few months, Adrielle was in her first competition when the judges noticed that she was the only child without a music book. They went into a tizzy scrambling to figure out what to do, until they discovered that she had her piece memorized, ending that event in 3rd place behind students who had been playing for more than a year.

Shortly afterwards without any explanation, Peter stopped paying for her lessons and it was over. Despite constant talk about being captain of the cross country, rugby, wrestling team… when he graduated from the Naval Academy in New York, he despised her God-given abilities so much that he set his heart on sabotaging anything she was passionate about, from gymnastics, equestrian… to even jogging around the block with him.

Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction.
